Spinach & Celery Smoothie

This smoothie is chick full of hormone-balancing good fats. The juice of fresh raw celery is loaded with a variety of nutrients. It contains almost all essential vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and stocked up energy, which help in regulating the natural as well as optimal functions of our body collectively.

Eating two table spoons of ground flax seeds (linseeds) a day will help boost fibre, fat and provides phytoestrogen (ligands) which mimic oestrogen in the body and hence is hormone balancing.

  • 1 cup of spinach leaves
  • 2 sticks celery
  • 1/2 small avocado
  • 2 tsp ground flax seeds
  • 1/2 lime or lemon juiced
  • handful of parsley
  • optional mint leaves



Add all ingredients to a juicer, blender or food processor. Add 250ml of water and blend.


Add more water to desired consistency.

Tips: Depending on your mood and for variety use coconut water or any nut milk for a slightly different flavour.
